We will meet in the Alexander Boardroom on the 7th floor. Guests should check in with the 7th floor receptionist.

The ABA is 1 block from the Farragut North Metro (red line) and 2 blocks from the Farragut West Metro (Blue/Orange line). There are also several parking garages around the area and expect to pay $13-$20.

COST

There is no cost for this meeting, but seating is limited, so register early! Please be considerate and let us know if your plans change after you register and you are unable to attend.

Do you feel like all you do is run from meeting to meeting with no time to prepare?  Do you have meetings on top of meetings put on your calendar?  In Making Meetings Matter, Joseph S. Rychalsky will share his unusual techniques for effectively conquering one of our most dreaded work related functions….meetings, meetings, and more meetings!  At this meeting, Joe will show you how to organize, prepare, negotiate with colleagues, and effectively run a meeting to get the most out of it.  It is a simple, common sense approach that will get you back on track for your next meeting!

ABOUT THE SPEAKER

Joe Rychalsky current serves as a Manager of the IT Service Desk at the American Red Cross.  Joe has implemented quality driven programs to improve Customer Service on the telephone and email, as well as department efficiencies.  In this role, he has also streamlined processes to improve the department’s First Tier Resolution by 20% over the last two years. 

Prior to his position at the American Red Cross, Joe serviced as a Senior Team Leader at Discover Financial Services for three years.  In this role, he was responsible for a team that handled escalated customer complaints from regulatory agencies and inquiries directed to senior management.  Joe crafted several programs that improved customer service and reduced overall customer irritants.

In addition to these roles, Joe has worked for eCount, Concord EFS, and JP Morgan Chase.  In his spare time, Joe enjoys spending time with his family, especially his two year old daughter.  He also enjoys playing golf and basketball and hitting the beach.
